Success Through Trigger Words

Success Through Trigger Words

In advertising your objective is to obtain sales. There are dissimilarities in your

wordings that can place your sales message into your reader's eyes or into the

dump tank.

Your plan is to increase your sales by triggering your prospects through a sales

solicitation. Email messages as well as any other sales message is where you

need to focus on these trigger words.

First we will look at the subject line. Does it scream advertising commercial and

describe exactly what you are selling?

The detrimental value to using this approach is that your prospective client can

quickly tell that you are advertising and determine what your product or service is.

Consider this when you open your email. How many emails do you delete because

you know that they are solicitations? That is why you must take a different approach!

Grab their attention in the headline. This should NOT look like an advertisement. It is

one that will invoke their curiosity. This is a trigger.

These triggers apply to your website as well. Your website homepage needs to have

the content to attract visitors. Within this page include trigger words or phrases for your

links and easy navigation to get them to where they need to go. Your prospects can

then proceed to the topics and most importantly to the products for purchasing.

Before we look at the best trigger words we will look at the worst ones.

Help

As professional people selling products our clientele know that we are not necessarily

in the business to help people. We are here to sell.

The only time help can come into play is in promotion, as in this product can help you,

but you need to add more than that to your statement when you are selling and don't

use it as your opening statement.

To Tell The Truth

You must be consistently truthful. Respect and trust is paramount in building relationships

that lead to sales. If your audience does not trust you, they will not buy from you. My parents

always told me that "honesty is the best policy" and this relates throughout life and must be

instilled in your business practices.

Just Give Me A Few Minutes Of Your Time

What does that statement sound like to you? Here you are trivializing the importance of your

message. You want them to understand that this is a priority.
